I liked that this year had a lot of musical performances. Jennifer Hudson KILLED it. Like whoa....And I loved Adele and Barbara Streisand's too.
Anne Hathaway is obnoxious...i'm sorry, but she's trying way too hard to act humble and sweet, like she didn't know she was going to win. It was just annoying to watch, and I actually really enjoyed her performance in Les Miz [all 15 minutes of it LOL].
I'm SO glad Jessica Chastain didn't win. I thought her performance in ZDT was way overrated. I was crossing my fingers so hard for Naomi Watts despite the fact I knew she wouldn't win. She was AMAZING in The Impossible. Sorely overlooked this year. But i'm glad that Jennifer Lawrence took it over Jessica Chastain because she was actually...you know, ACTING in her movie. Not staring intensely at a computer screen for 2 and a half hours LOL. And I couldn't help but laugh at her falling up the stairs...it makes her endearing and likeable. Take notes Anne Hathaway LOL.
As for Seth McFarlane, I didn't think he was TERRIBLE, like up there with James Franco terrible, but he wasn't great either. I think if he was allowed to be as raunchy and risque as he usually is with jokes it would have been more successful.
