Stone, "Instinct" get Razzie Award

Here's a story I thought would get the old board buzzing...straight from MSNBC.

I don't often put much stock in these things myself, but I though it would be a good topic of discussion. I actually haven't seen the movie.

to be fair, ALOT of critics said that Sharon was the ONLY redeeming thing about BI II. But sometimes one person alone cant keep a movie afloat. Sharon had been fighting (even threatening legal action) to get the sequel made YEARS earlier but many problems had been encountered along the way including finding the right man to play opposite her (since Michael Douglas was not approached) and the director or the original Basic Instinct (the same man who did Showgirls) bailed on the project after a while as well.

I own the sequel and i have to say...that Sharon's "Catherine Tremel" is as uninhibited as ever and still intriguing to watch but most of the other characters AROUND her are rather bland or "cardboard"esque.
