a very good read. it talks about four scenarios of how america's collapse could manifest & what the effects would be.
while nothing is certain, its definitely prooven throughout history that no empire lasts forever. portugal, rome, ottoman, britain & others are all prime examples of that.
& while washington is starting to acknowledge "change" (to the negative) is afoot regarding America's receding clout is as a global super power. ask people on the ground level who see their jobs leaving & they themselves no longer able to live or even barely survive in a dignified manner & they'll tell you America is in a decline.
Me personally? I do believe America is in a decline & that it will get much worse before it gets better. My FEAR is how much worse it will be. History also shows that in times of economic despair, countries often wing FAR RIGHT & when that happens...people DIE (nazi germany is a prime example). The other part of MY fear is will our decline include some kind of invasion?
