Retailers pre-empting holiday season?

Shop on Thanksgiving? No thanks - CNN.com

Whatever happened to stores @ least being shut on turkey day & xmas?

Will YOU support retailers infringing on workers' time w/ their families during the holiday season as they start the "black friday" tradition @ midnight or in some cases on THURSDAY (turkey day itself)?

Personally? I won't be. I stopped fooling w/ black friday crowds a couple years back & prefer to shop online on "black monday" (the monday following black friday). no crowds, better deals.

I won't go on Thanksgiving itself because I think that's a bit much, however I am hitting up Target at 12am because they always have killer DVD television boxset sales. I can't pass that up lol.

I think it sucks that workers have to go in during Thanksgiving, and even earlier on Black Friday....I certainly would be pissed if I worked in the retail business. But I don't, so i'm taking advantage LOL.
