Do you ever think about religion & various ideaologies? Where they begin & how they were used throughout history?
Most ppl I know seem to just reflexively accept religion as if its always been here. They're unable to deconstruct & think critically to admit that the concept is man made & has been used to justify all sorts of acts of atrocity.
Or how about ideaologies that have, for centuries, been used to force the oppressed to accept their circumstances & make the oppressors/wrong doers seem RIGHT & 'justified'...you can see that in the way american history is taught in schools from k-12. Even I didnt get a real grasp of REAL history until college when i decided to minor in it.
Thoughts?
