So, the reviews are slowly coming in for Rebel Wilson (Of Bridesmaids and Pitch Perfect Fame) and they are most definitely not the most positive.

Many are saying that she relies too heavily on "fat jokes" and that the self deprecating humor often comes off as sad and just over the top ridiculous.

The show revolves around Rebel Wilson playing a young lawyer who has never had much of a social life, and actually, after forming a standing date night with two of her friends 13 years ago on the girls' prom night, every Friday for the last 13 years, the girls always hang out and kind of live in her own world..

But as Rebel moves up in the law firm she knows she has to start being more social and starts to try new things that end up completely embarrassing and often in physical comedy.

I wonder however, when we look at people like John Candy.. if he were in this role, would we be even aware of how many "fat" jokes there might be? AND.. are you going to be tuning into the premiere?

I actually set my DVR to record this. I don't really watch sitcoms, but she is pretty funny so I figure I'll give it a shot. Probably if the critics hate it I'll love it lol

I totally forgot this was a thing that was happening, lets see if it gets to season 2

I LOVE Rebel Wilson, but I did watch the trailer and I didn't really laugh. I don't know...maybe she IS more funny as part of an ensemble?

I can't say I laughed out loud, but it wasn't too bad. The fat jokes WERE sad, but more in the sense that they were incredibly stereotypical, like the text about the jelly donuts. Instead of showing her like a real person she's a cliche.
