Rape charges dropped in Duke lacross team trial

Well, well, well, imagine that. The woman who changed her story three times already, changes it again. Now she can't remember if there was penetration at the same time that the dna evidence comes back NEGATIVE.

This shit pisses me off so damned much it's not even funny. It's NOT enough to be able to counter sue. This woman and women like her NEED TO GO TO FUCKING JAIL. An accusation of rape will RUIN a man's life and there NEEDS to be some protection in place. In a case like this where it was CLEARLY bullshit (as it usually is in high profile/sports/celebrity cases where the accuser has PLENTY to gain), JAIL TIME needs to be there.

I'm all for a woman's right, but you do NOT have the right to ruin my fucking life because I have dick.

And a man does not have the right to ruin a woman's fucking life just because he has a dick, but here we are.

It's interesting how men make even things like this about them – when it is known that only a very small percentage of rapists go to jail. If we only look at the few rapes that are actually reported, most men are set free even if the evidence clearly shows he did rape the woman in question. ("We can't know for sure if he understood that he was committing a crime.") Still, the important thing is that this woman goes to jail?

Having said that, you are of course not wrong; if this woman actually does remember what happened and is in fact lying, there's no excuse for that. I guess I'd just personally waste more energy on the fact that "we"/the system always tend to rule in favour of the man/men.
