I know this isn't the usual comic offer but this mini is one of the best and most moving of the year. If you can try to get it in trade or pick up the individual issues you wouldn't be disappointed.

I have read the first 3 issues, and yes, this is some of the best i have read this year. So moving and touching. Incredibly well written. Probably some of the best comics i have read so far this year.

It really seems like this title is a sleeper hit. Its really amazing but it seems like no ones reading it.

Well, it's about the Silver Surfer. lol How many great comics are out there that haven't attracted readers because the character, at a glance, doesn't seem like he should have his own solo series? Moon Knight and Manhunter both come to mind...

that kind of annoys me about comic fans. If they don't like the characters they either ignore wonderful stories or if they do like the character they buy the series no matter how bad it is (wolverine origins.) Seems like a good book can't go on without some A list over-saturated character in it.

Alot of the best comics just fly under the radar. It's annoying to me when it results in the book getting cancelled. But as long as I can keep reading my Invincible or Runaways the rest of the dumbasses can read their Wolverine drivel as far as I care.

It's funny, because when a book doesn't do well the publisher will usually force the writer to include cameos by the A-listers. That can really hurt the writing when there needs to be a tie-in.
