U.S. Postal Service Faces Bankruptcy, Plans Cuts To Slow Delivery Of First Class Mail

"First class" mail service will be slowed; many processing plants will be closed. These are but two in a list of efforts by the US Postal service to save $20billion by 2015.
I might be one of the few who prefers using the u.s. postal service over private companies like fed ex, which, imo charge way too much & do not have convenient operating hours for package pick up & their "customer service" call centers?! <<FAMILY FEUD BUZZER>>
The current congress made no secret of its desire to see the postal service further privatized earlier this year. I personally think this is part of that & I'm against it. prices will go way up & there'll be no regulation or oversight, not to mention the scores of ppl who will lose their jobs, adding to an already historically HIGH unemployment rate.
