Just letting you guys know, my plan here is to try and post a bunch to make the site look more active, then send out a mass email inviting people back to the site to check it out.

Thanks I just figure if we get a bunch of people on here at once and show them all there is to post about here, maybe some will stick around. Plus it's nice for us to post about other stuff than the Six, rather than just talking about it in the shoutbox like we normally do lol
I just want to go through and weed out some of the spam accounts before we mass email
Farrah if you want to write the email that's cool with me, also. Maybe we can list a few current topics at the time to show what people could post about and get them interested - you know, if they follow the link they might want to respond to what they read?

On a side note, it's kind of interesting that only 2 of the 9 affiliates Dan posted in this thread: Screen-Gems~ Featured Affiliates - Screen-Gems still exist. Mine. lol

Good idea. I really like that the board has been more active the past couple of days. It makes me happy to see "there have been so and so posts since your last visit" instead of 0, lol.

agreed. we just have to help keep that going. we've all been guilty of staying inside the six exclusively. WE especially should be out among other areas of the board.
How would Wednesday night be for a time to send out those emails? I don't want to lose the momentum we have going lol

well we should be more active amongst the board ourselves either way. im appreciating the board all over again through this :nod:

I'll ask them to put something in the next newsletter.
But yeah, continuing to post is going to be the best way to get people anyway, because they'll come here and see the activity and see something hopefully they want to post in. If someone comes here and all they see is us posting in the Six, they aren't going to bother to stick around.
LOL our awards are on Sunday too bad we didn't think of it before, we could have made a commercial advertising SG for that lol
