I have a techy question that I thought i'd ask you since you're good with web stuff. :)

I recently was having issues with my laptop connecting to my internet after I left town and came back home. I called up my service provider and the chick I dealt with was a fucking idiot. She kept me on the phone for 2 hours trying to fix it even though the internet itself was fine because the other computers in my house were working, only mine wasn't. So she reconfigured everything and made us go on an unsecure connection. I had to deal with it for the night because I needed to finish some school work before that evenings deadline, however the next day I called back and told them I needed to get onto a secure network.

So after I was put back on a secure network, I noticed that my firefox [which is my main internet browser] was acting strange and not saving any of my usernames or passwords when I went onto pages I frequent, SG included. I went to the tools and made sure that I had save all passwords for web pages, and made sure that none of the pages I frequent were listed as sites that shouldn't save passwords. I even try syncing my firefox, which I never knew you could do before. But i'm still having the same issue everytime I shut down firefox. Nothing saves.

I was thinking of reinstalling it to see if that would work, however I have so many bookmarks that I don't want to lose them all. So I thought i'd ask you to see if maybe you knew of anything.

Okay that was long winded lol. Sorry! :p

Well the password thing sounds like a cookie problem, so clear all your cookies & I would delete history and everything for good measure, then close your browser, restart computer and try again and see if they save.

If that doesn't work make sure you've run a deep virus scan and checked for spyware/malware.

Other than that, you could try going to a restore point from a time before you went on vacation and see if that fixes the secure connection problem.

:)
