Omg omg omg omg.....okay, so i'm geeking out right now! LOL!
If you remember last year, a mini Mortal Kombat "trailer" in the form of Christopher Nolan's Batman series hit youtube and went viral within days. It was made as a way to entice producers to remake the Mortal Kombat movies by showing fans want to see it remade. Here's a link if you haven't seen it.

WELL!!! Less then a year later, it's been announced that Mortal Kombat will be turned into a web series using the same director of the trailer, and keeping the actors Michael Jai White and Jeri Ryan as Jax and Sonya. Here's the full article.

I'm SOOO excited!! When I first saw this trailer I was like, holy shit! This looks bad ass! I've always been a fan of the Mortal Kombat games, and I did like the movies even though they were pretty lame, lol. But when I saw the dark, realistic twist that this director put together [much like that of the new Batman series], I fell in love! I was crossing my fingers that producers would give the okay for a movie! Though it's not an actual movie [which is disappointing], I am really excited that they're pursuing this and making it into a web series so I can atleast watch it!
Anyone else excited or interested in this?
