Columbia Pictures has hired Tropic Thunder writer Etan Cohen to pen the script for Men in Black 3.

There are no deals yet in place for franchise director Barry Sonnenfeld and stars Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones to return.

The studio is looking to start filming the third installment in 2010, perhaps as early as the spring.

The first two films combined to earn nearly $1.1 billion worldwide.

Didnt they do a third one with Rosario Dawson... or was that the 2nd one?

I just didn't remember, I thought there was a movie I missed or something?

nope only the 2with number 3 confirmed and the cartoon series

and i just want to say the guy in your avatar something about him . . . .extremely punchable face. no joke he looks like someone that needs a good kick to the face each morning

Well thats cool I guess, I mean I enjoyed Men in Black when it first came out, and I even liked 2 well I did when it first came out lol Now I get bored with them both very easily as they've been played too many times. So I guess i'd check it out but hopefully Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith both come back to it.. I dont know how good it would be without them.
