Who the hell is in charge of Maxim Magazine? THEY SUCK lol!

Here is their TOP 5 list of "Unsexiest women"

1) Sarah Jessica Parker
2) Amy Whinehouse
3) Sandra Oh
4) Madonna
5) Britney Spears

the ONLY person (and this is because of her bad hair weave more than anything else) that i AGREE with being on this list right now is Britney. all the other women (perhaps with the exception of Sandra Oh, whose FACE is rather unattractive to me) are stylish and sexy.

and HELL NO THEY DIDNT put MADONNA on this list!

This magazine must not appreciate women over 35 or something because i think this least generally is inaccurate and nonsense.

anyone else have an opinion?

Well first of all, I think it's rather cruel to have an 'unsexiest' list at all.

However.... Amy Whinehouse freaks me out. I've never seen the appeal of Sandra Oh, but I know plenty of people who think she's pretty sexy. SJP, while not drop dead gorgeous, is not UNSEXY. Britney Spears has more to worry about than her sex appeal right now. Along with her 'sexiness', she's lost her ever-lovin' mind and EVERYBODY knows it.

And I don't know what they mean by Madonna. That woman's got it going on, ESPECIALLY for her age.

Maybe the list is a joke?

i agree, the whole idea of this list is cruel and Maxim comes off rather childish to me for even making such a list.

and why dont we see a list like this for MEN? here we go again with the unfair BURDEN on women to remain immortally attractive forever while men can look like bloated bags of garbage and still think they are entitled to hot attractive women

i too am wondering what the hell they were thinking by even including Madonna. that woman has a body better than some 20 year olds and she looks FABULOUS for her age.

Yeah, the list is a bit cruel..but partially cause it's a bit more blunt then the 'best and worst' lists, or the 'hot or not' that you see in other places. Also, guys don't exactly just talk to each other about women they think are the sexiest and the..oh so many things they would..or wish they would like to do with them. We also talk about the opposite end of the spectrum, and laugh about it. (then again..pretty much all of the ladies i know do the same thing more often.) I honestly can't disagree with that list too much except for Madonna..even if you don't like her..don't see a way she'd be considered most unsexy of pretty much anything..may not be at the top of the sexy list, and hey..that's cool, to each their own. Never thought Britney Spears was all that anyways, so whatever..SJP...not gonna start there. To each their own. But there are SO many other folks that should be on that list..bleh.

And why don't you see a list like that for men?..you're talking about a list in a magazine for men..specifically straight men. Why would we care about who the sexiest and unsexiest men are? That's an issue to be taken up with all the magazines geared for the ladies, and entertainment magazines. Then again, entertainment magazines always have a best and worst..most just tend to try and put it a lot..nicer though. Burden on the women here? Hmm..don't think so...

I'll elaborate on some of that later..i'm hungry, and i'm watching Boondocks. :p

The deal with the Maxim list unfortunately, is that aging and gaining ANY weight are ways to get on this list. Britney's antics plus her slight weight gain has helped qualify her. Madonna got there because she IS aging and although she looks great overall, the comparative drop-off is the reason cited I beleve.

Winehouse is a troll as is Sarah Jessica Parker. I do not get the love/hate with Sandra OH. I think she is SO pretty, and I like how all her characters are VERY smart. That is very sexy to me.

Overall, I think it must be stated here that you do not go to Maxim to get deep analysis of anything. It is Playboy with slighty more clothing and MUCH worse writing. It also caters very much to a older teen to mid 30s white guy. Unfortunately that crowd is not well known for its appreciation for strong women OR for any extra weight. God forbid you actually age. Unfortunately, I see too many women who allow that narrow view of how women should look and be to dominate their minds.

In the case of Madonna's aging qualifying her for this childish list....even PLAYBOY shows love to older women. just look at Farrah Fawcett, who, at 53 graced the cover of their 1995 x-mas issue and it became THE HIGHEST SELLING ISSUE OF ALL TIME. Farrah then went on to star in a playboy dvd and pay per view special, again one of its highest selling products called "All of me" along with another issue on which she had the cover and the full page spread and again...this was when she was well into her 50's...with a body that was once described by a writer in "People" magazine as "the envy of women half her age"

So if PLAYBOY can continue to appreciate and showcase the beauty of women who are over 35, then Maxim needs to take a cue. Madonna is 48, with a body better than some 30 and even 20 year olds and if a walking fossil like Jack Nicholson can still get cast in movies where his character's "love interest" is played by a woman young enough to be his daughter or granddaughter then SURELY these stupid magazines (and the men who read them) can get a clue.

Sarah Jessica Parker's face is what has always bothered me but when she was pregnant, it seemed to round out a bit and that made her look better. her CHARACTER from sex and the city, "CARRIE" is a style icon and i think she rests on that more than anything else now. Her co-stars Kim Catrall (mannequin) and Kristin Davis (melrose place) are EASILY more attractive than her.

Amy Winehouse looks dirty and skanky...and her hair is an absolute FRIGHT...but even so, the idea that a magazine would publish a list dedicated to calling out the "unsexiest women" (while we've YET to see one for the unsexiest MEN anywhere) just seems cruel and childish.

i didnt know Maxim catered to such a narrow male demographic...but i guess knowing that now its easier to see how they could come up with such a list.

Understand, Maxim has been known to digitally slim the hips and curves of some of its models' pictures (including Beyonce!!) in order to cater to that demographic. That demographic pays very well and has fanatical brand loyalty, that is why it is so profitable to advertisers and to Maxim and things along those lines; that also explains many of the shows on TV.

Strangely enough, many women find Maxim more acceptable simply due to the fact that there is no nudity, regardless of the fact that it is much more demeaning overall compared to Playboy. That allows it to fly under the radar in that it is considered a more palatable alternative. But the list is crap-tastic at best.

lol, this is so mean...but with that said, I think Amy Winehouse is a mess, and I personally, don't find her attractive at all. I just watched a video on youtube lastnight of her sniffing coke right in the middle of her performance...her behavior is insane. I've never really found Sarah Jessica Parker that attracting. She looks really pretty in photoshoots, but when she's on commericals or television shows, she's just kinda eh to me. I think Sandra Oh is pretty when she's glammed up. She's a different kind of pretty IMO, so I disagree with her and Madonna. Madonna has aged very gracefully in my opinion, so they're ridiculous for putting her on the list. And Britney Spears? Well...I don't think she's unattractive at all, but I do find her behavior unattractive. I don't think she should be on the list.

Yeah, I agree with most of those.
Parker only looks good in photos.
Winehouse has potential, but she's a mess.
Sandra Oh is just Oh-k.
Madonna. Well let's just say I've never been a fan.
Brit. What a waste.
