anyone who read this issue already as seen it and asked themselves like I WTF is Bendis doing with this? alright for anyone who hasn't read it the NA are fighting ninjas (Electra and The Hand) in Japan to save Echo under Hand mind control. Dr. Strange breaks it and then Echo stabs Electra. Electra's dead body changes to a:

proxy.php


Electra is a SKRULL!! and who knows for how long. how could no body notice this ?
oh and Luke Cages kid look kind of funny at the end and had greens eyes, looks bad for Luke or Jessica.

oh and theres been a massive invasion of the Earth by the skrulls

That means ANYONE in the Marvel Universe could be a Skrull! This explains EVERYTHING...House of M, Decimation, the loss of Captain Universe's power, Civil War...heck I bet Annihilation was even part of the Skrull plot to take over the Universe! I bet they made a pact with Annihilus in order to conquer the Universe and faked the death of their Empire! It was all in front of our faces all this time and we never realized it! Well played Quesada...well played. :clap:
 
i really hope this isn't going to become a look _________ is a Skrull retcon thing. making a civil war retcon this early after the event can't be good. oh and i'm calling it now Skrulls caused Civil War.

speaking of which they ever going to follow up on that story?
 
Well Gabriel Vargas (the guy who became Captain Universe at the end of the mini) is going to return in Annihilation Conquest as Captain Universe but I am not sure if they will explain who or what was ever behind the power loss. Perhaps the mysterious super-villain in Conquest is the same villain who was originally going to be in the proposed Captain Universe Mini-Series but have now expanded his or her role into something much larger so that he or she is not only Captain Universe's problem but everyone elses too. Which I think is a great idea because not only will it expand Captain Universe's place in the Marvel Universe a bit and it will also give other's the chance to shine in places where only the Silver Surfer could once fly.

However from a preview page in last months Marvel PREVIEWS I do know that Captain Universe was arrested by the Kree for saving a bunch of people from Kree Soldiers whom he thought were innocents but were actually sympathetic to the actions of the Annihilation Wave. But I am confident they will explain everyone's loose ends including the Captain's.

Very true. Definately has to have been around for a while. I'm guessing Illuminati #1, which does put it before civil war and all that stuff...or Silent War. That makes sense, as the timeframe for Illuminati #5 is after WWH.
 
but the issue is if Black Bolt has been a Skrull since then is his every appearance since then him or the skrull?
 
Well, that takes place after WWH..so the black bolt seen there is a Skrull..i'm thinking it either happened in beginning of Illuminati, or sometime just before Silent War.
 
I think the biggest problem is Black Bolt doesn't speak or have thought bubbles so its impossible to guess based on his appearances. I Believe in a interview Bendis said the Black Bolt has been a skrull since the first issue after they were captured which puts Illuminatskrull around since just after the Kree/Skrull war at least and they have one of the Infinity Gems.
