So as i usually do i had a few interesting thoughts on a subject and this time i thought i would share it so . . .

I was wondering do you feel as though understanding and empathy run almost perpendicular to the current human condition. Allow me a moment to explain what i mean, in our culture (or even every culture) there is a extreme push for both internal and external labeling and with that comes a social condition i noticed. People seem to have a genuine inability whether consciously or unconsciously to see past their own role and labels to even try to understand another. It seems even if on some level even if a person sees some common connections in elements of their social identity they refuse to genuinely acknowledge and build on them. i would say its a bit like African-Americans that are prejudiced or feminist that turn out to be sexist, while there are acknowledge feelings of symmetry the advent of the beholders social identity are so strong that they simply refuse to put themselves or their identity in an empathic stating with the subject. It seems like in order to understand anyone of a race, gender or creed you have to lack your own connections. so with this idea put forward how do you all feel on the subject? is it possible to connect with a social identity or on some level do you have to be a blank social pariah
