It's Frankenstein as you've never seen him before, in a dark new series from acclaimed writer Jeff Lemire (SWEET TOOTH) and artist Alberto Ponticelli (UNKNOWN SOLDIER)!

Frankenstein is part of a network of strange beings who work for an even stranger government organization: The Super Human Advanced Defense Executive! But can he protect the world from threats even more horrifying than himself? And since he's vilified for who and what he is, will he even want to take on this mission?

Does anyone else like the writer of this one's been watching too much Doctor Who?

I think the idea of this is really cool, but the implementation leaves something to be desired.

In reference to the Doctor Who thing thats intentional only because thats always been the type of comic that the current Frankenstein and SHADE agency have been involved in. They're the type for overblown freaky sci-fi which is currently being popularized by Doctor Who (time travel based plots, freak monsters like the silence and weeping angels, and just out of mind plots and story devices) I liked it in it's execution, i felt it was a worthy followup to Seven Soldiers of Victory: Frankenstein
