I see there other ppl in the background dancing a bit as well. still doesnt make it look anymore appropriate though.
It was a huge celebration with music and such because the people there view death as a celebration and a sign of rebirth. So there was performances and such mixed in with speeches and such, if you look at footage on Youtube, everyone was dancing and really just celebrating the life of Nelson Mandela. I don't know I think people are making too much of a big deal out of it....
