Okay people..

It has come to my attention there was some kind of mix up about the whole Awards thread, seems Farrah had asked Devon and Amy to help her out with it and Trent found out about this and helped out as well..

This wasn't know to any of us.. I for one don't like that because I feel we as the forum leaders should be involved in things like this, I blame this on Farrah getting ill (not on farrah personally).

Now.. Ikaris and Sati have been working their butts of to get things going, I sugest both parties in this compair notes and come to a good solution..

@ Trent.. you should have posted something here.. before things got out of hand and 2 groups of people were doing double work.

I want to bring this to a good end soon cause to be honest this is pissing me of, I want to see the award show up and running a.s.a.p.
 
I don't mind not being a part of the awards, as Farrah decided upon Amy and Devon beforehand however, Trent dearest... you could have said something before things went so far as to be announced in the meeting.

Ikaris, or someone... do we know what the others had so far on the awards? If so, post it here?
 
I've talked to Devon and he said he will talk to you and Jay about it, we need to have more categories ;)
 
I will be more than happy to help think up extra categories for the awards and if they are wanting to do the presentations then more power to them, I can certainly do without the headaches and I believe the same of you and Sati, Ri.

I think my frustration with it is the secrecy and the fact I was being dressed down like a stupid child for trying to help boost participation. The entire thing could have been avoided simply by sharing information. Can we agree not to be holding secrets from one another that directly affect the boards?
 
Yes I agree, not to sound like a whiney kid here but i'm busy enough as it is with Fleur, don't get me wrong I don't mind doing the things I do for MoE but don't mak me do things fot nothing and don't keep info behind like this.
 
Okay um let me defend myself, I was under the impression Farrah had told ya'll she asked me awhile ago to help out and said she would get me the details later

I never meant to cause a stir I was just a little confuzzled and when I asked you Irene last night I was fine with the answer just a little confused but trust me, I would have said something if I knew ya'll had no idea about what was going on, sorry if I caused any trouble, I didnt mean to :(
 
Ok Trent, listen in the future just share this kind of info, cause we were all in the dark and now Jay and Sati have been doing a lot of double work for nothing while we're busy enough as it is...

The most important thing is this is trust and working together as a team and I have the feeling we're lacking the team spirit, MoE is very important to me and I hope the same counts for the rest of you.. so don't let something like this happen in the future be open and honest.
 
And to add on to what Ri said about working as a team, it is ALSO important that we do not jump down each other's throat, or bite each others heads off. :p I can understand if you're frustrated or angry or happy or sad or whatever it is you are now or at any point in the future, but the best thing we can all do is TALK about things and be open and receptive, and be careful not to attack each other or criticize unconstructively. Just a side note. ;)
 
I totally agree Lexi :)

We're all human beings here and sometimes we react emotional and I'm the last to say I don't (being a total emotional nutcase) ;)
