Buddy Baker has gone from "super" man to family man – but is he strong enough to hold his family together when Maxine, his young daughter, starts to manifest her own dangerous powers? Find out in this dramatic new series from writer Jeff Lemire (SWEET TOOTH) and artist Travel Foreman (The Immortal Iron Fist).

So this one was well written, but not really my cup of tea. And I think the Animal Man powers are a little confusing, and the activist/actor thing is a bit odd. And then the dead animals lol...odd...

this book is taking a heavy horror angle with it and i think is crossing over with Swamp Thing but again like Demon Knights i guess its not for everyone.

And what activist/actor thing?

[Clara Oswald]

How Animal Man is supposedly an animal activist, and he's become a movie actor. And the thinly veiled references to real life people and films...just felt off to me.

[Black King]

oh Animal Man when he's not in costume he's a stuntman and in his past titles he has been an animal rights activist. He's one of the few heroes that doesn't bother with a secret identity
